Privacy policy

This page describes how we handle information when you use Audio to SRT. Last updated: 2026.

What you upload

When you upload audio or video, we process it to generate subtitles. Source files are deleted after processing completes or fails, to limit how long raw media stays on our servers.

Session cookie

We set a first-party HTTP-only cookie so your browser can access your recent jobs and downloads in the current session. Clearing cookies or switching browsers starts a new session.

Retention

Generated SRT files are kept for a limited time, then removed by automated cleanup. Do not rely on this site as long-term storage - download files you need while they are still available.

Logs

We may keep operational logs (for example errors, job IDs, timestamps) to run and secure the service. We avoid logging full transcript text where practical.

Analytics and ads

We may use analytics (such as Google Analytics) and display advertising (such as Google AdSense) on public pages. Those providers have their own privacy policies and may use cookies or similar technologies.
