Spoken language

Auto-detect works for many files. For songs, music, or mixed audio, pick the language explicitly (for example Hebrew or Russian) - it usually helps a lot. Clear speech and podcasts work best; singing is harder for any speech model.

Max words per subtitle phrase

Lower values split phrases more often. You can change this later and reconvert from the completed file page.

Storage

Files are temporary. Media is removed after processing; subtitles expire later per our retention rules.
