This page is a rough plan, not a promise. Priorities can change based on cost, abuse risk, and maintenance load.

1. Quality - better line breaks, timing, and fewer edge-case glitches on noisy audio.
2. UX - clearer status, mobile-friendly upload, stronger accessibility.
3. Formats - optional export formats (for example VTT) if they fit the same simple tool model.
4. Operations - monitoring, rate limits, and disk usage safeguards on small servers.

We are not planning to turn this site back into a signup-first SaaS. The goal stays a free public tool with sustainable hosting.
