Subtitles for interviews

Interviews are harder than solo speech: two voices, cross-talk, and room noise. Plan for a review pass after any automatic transcript.

Speaker clarity

If your editor supports speaker labels, add them in post - basic SRT is only text lines, so many teams use a leading name or initials in the line when needed.

Crosstalk

When two people speak at once, automatic systems guess. Split overlapping moments into separate lines when you edit, or simplify to one speaker if that matches what you publish.

Ethics

Do not change meaning when you fix wording. Light edits for clarity are normal; rewriting answers is not.
